The Criterium National Series is comprised of eight distinguished criterium-style events held across the United States, spanning a total of 35 days of racing. Elite racers have the opportunity to accumulate points throughout all 35 days for the overall Criterium National Series Title. Additionally, eight of the events, which are part of the American Criterium Cup (ACC), will provide double points for participating riders.
American Criterium Cup Junior Series presented by Renaissance Financial
In 2024, the American Criterium Cup is introducing the American Criterium Cup Junior Series, presented by Renaissance Financial. Like the Elite fields, juniors can earn points across the eight-race ACC calendar, ranked by the ACC scoring system. Stay tuned for more details.
Distribution of Points
The Criterium National Series will feature the following points breakdown for each of the 35 days of racing. During the eight ACC-specific days of racing, riders will have the opportunity to earn double points. Individual rankings for the Elite Men and Elite Women will be promptly updated after each event.
The following eight days comprise the ACC calendar and will offer double points for the Criterium National Series overall - June 7, June 22, June 29, July 6, July 12, July 27, August 3, and September 1.
The 2024 edition will offer riders the opportunity to qualify for the 2025 USA Cycling Professional Road National Championships. The top ten Elite Men and Elite Women in the overall standings will automatically qualify for the Criterium at Pro Road Nationals.
