I was not a strong academic student in my early years of school, but cycling gave me an outlet to explore, have fun, and chase my goals. What made me a better student later on were the values I found in sport; dedication, drive, work ethic, respect, attention to detail, being a good teammate, and goal setting. I continue to incorporate these values in my daily routines on and off the bike.
