Kelsey grew up on the back of her family's four seat tandem, on the way to ice cream and the next adventure. As she got older, she fell in love with two wheels for the unparalleled sense of freedom coupled with unbeatable access to the outdoors. When she was 15, she joined her high school mountain bike team and found an incredible group of older girls who showed her how fun competition could be at the NICA races. The next year, she was invited to race in Canada with the US National Team, and the rest is history!

Kelsey is now a professional cross-country cyclist in love with the challenge of becoming one of the best in the world and passionate about bringing the power of two wheels to more people. She sees cycling as empowerment: an opportunity to connect with yourself, the community and nature. Kelsey loves to bring a multidimensional view to the athlete through rawness and honesty. She rides for Team 31, a team dedicated to inspiring children to play, and is an ambassador for Little Bellas, a nonprofit devoted to getting more girls on bikes. When not racing, she can be found in exploring a new swimming hole, trying out a new recipe, reading, or picnicking. She lives in her van with her partner and their dog.
