Come one, Come All to Maghalie's Meet & Greet at Virginia's Blue Ridge Go Cross this Saturday afternoon from 5:30-6:30pm onsite at awards stage. Join Maghalie Rochette, World Cup Winner and Multi-time Canadian National Champion along with some of her closest pro athlete friends. This is a must attend event for any rising junior or amateur USCX participant. Hear stories of perseverance during these athletes' most challenging times in their racing careers. Then, after stories are told, join in for a thirty minute Meet & Greet to ask your questions in areas you may need guidance on. These athletes are here to help!
We asked Maghalie, what is your "why" in hosting these Meet & Greets as a part of USCX this year and her answer was incredibly genuine and heartfelt.
"One of the reasons why I love cyclocross in North America is the community. The events here provide a great way to connect with other cyclocross-feverish people, and I love that. That passion is truly contagious. In the last few years, I’ve spent most of my time racing in Europe or I’ve missed the North American season due to injury or the COVID years, and I feel like I have not been able to connect with people as much as I would have liked.
But this year, I’m excited to commit to racing the full USCX Series; going back to my roots and enjoying this beautiful sport. So David and I thought it would be fun to create a dedicated moment to connect with people and meet our fellow cyclocross friends at each of the USCX Series events. We brought the idea to Scott Page and the whole team at USCX really took this project on; we feel very fortunate for their support for bringing this moment of Meet-n-Greet to life. This will be an opportunity, post race, when everyone is chill, to chat about cyclocross and hang out with fellow cyclocross-ers.

Maghalie Rochette's Meet & Greet events will continue at all 2023 USCX events this year. We are very excited to have multiple Elite Professional Men and Women joining in to support the amateur and junior racing community that is a part of USCX. USCX is the only International Class C1 UCI Cyclocross Series in North America hosting a cumulative overall series points structure for CX Professional Elite, Amateurs and Juniors!
